Writer mentions that the U.K. is named “Airstrip One” in the novel “1984”; however he fails to indicate the fact that not only is the U.K. a hyper-militarized police state for the Olympics, it harbors several (at least) US military bases, making it an occupied US satellite / puppet state -- even more like the “Airstrip One” of Orwell’s novel than the writer relates.
