Read Books, LOTS of Books! Start a book club/community library to defray the costs of all these books and to spread the knowledge; get as many books as you can from the library, but for radical political theory and history, your local library won’t be enough. Look for radical bookshops or “infoshops” in your area – many of these will have free literature and events and also may have a small lending library. Below are some of our favorite publishers, which you should try to buy direct from as much as possible, or order through your local, independent bookstores, especially radical bookstores or infoshops. Sign up for their e-newsletters and you will get alerts about sales and special offers; on and around the first of May, May Day (International Workers Day), is usually when you can find some good deals.
