Featured Media: Silent Warfare

The currently featured book on Prole Center is Silent Warfare: Understanding the World of Intelligence. Keep an eye out for frequently updated books, film and music on the “Featured Media” section of this blog on the right-hand column, as well as the more inclusive Proletarian Media page. These media selections are officially sanctioned by Prole Center.

If you are confused as to why we would feature a book dealing with “intelligence” or espionage, allow us to explain. If you want to know the #1 reason why and how popular movements have been consistently derailed and crushed again and again. . . and again, this is it: Intelligence, Counterintelligence and Covert Action. Having a full understanding of the sleazy, slimy, dishonest, low-down, dirty tricks of the great enemy of freedom and democracy is essential for all Proletarians. Other books on this topic are the following:

Safe for Democracy: The Secret Wars of the CIA

Thwarting Enemies at Home and Abroad: How to Be a Counterintelligence Officer

Killing Hope: US Military and CIA Interventions Since WWII

  1. What about the book, “The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism?” The price is rather bougie, but I think it’s a must have for all unabashed leftist proles. Thoughts?

  2. Prole Center says:

Yes, thanks for suggesting that. “The Shock Doctrine” is another good book to check out as well as Naomi Klein’s other bestseller, “No Logo.” You can learn a lot from these books, and since they are bestsellers you can probably find them at your local library.

However, although her grandparents were Communists, Naomi is just a liberal. She thinks capitalism can be reformed. Her beef is simply with “unbridled capitalism.” On the other hand, we feel that capitalism must be completely abolished and replaced with a truly democratic and egalitarian system that allows each and every individual to have control over their lives and reach their full potential; in a word – Socialism.
