Right-Wing Slogans #2

“Freedom isn’t free.”

This is a popular conservative slogan, especially among soldiers and their families. Actually, if you look up freedom in the dictionary, one of the primary meanings listed is “the quality or state of being free.” Here are some counter-slogans I came up with:

“Freedom IS free – it’s right there in the name!”

“Freedom for Whom?!”

“Freedom to do what?!”

“How about Freedom from Exploitation, Manipulation, False Propaganda, Oppression, Alienation, Humiliation, Toxic Food, Price Gouging?!” (etc., etc.)

They seem to like slogans in the USA. We don’t have many ‘catchy ones’ here, but I do like your alternatives.

Oh yes, Americans love slogans; they’re easier for simple minds to grasp. Actually, I’m going to post one more right-wing slogan shortly that is a paraphrase of something Margaret Thatcher said. I’m curious to get your response and see if it is something that conservative groups in the UK are still saying.
