World War IV is Happening Now

If only we could have ended this shit a long time ago.

American elites want to conquer every corner of the globe and make capitalism the one true faith.

Ever since the end of WWII there has been fearful speculation and warnings of a possible Third World War that always seemed just over the horizon; but what people didn’t realize is that WW3 had already begun. An ideological war was fought between the US-led capitalist camp and the USSR-led socialist and anti-imperialist alliance. Much of this war was waged in secret by the CIA through use of propaganda, psychological warfare, economic sanctions, sabotage, funding and manipulation of political parties, assassinations and coups. This silent Cold War would from time to time break out into major “hot wars” (revolutions and counterrevolutions).

In 1991 WW3 came to an end with the defeat of the Soviet Union and the socialist bloc in eastern Europe. Following Soviet capitulation and defeat, the end of history was declared and President Bush I announced that there would be a new world order – the US would now be the world’s sole “superpower” and usher in a golden era of global capitalism with America at the helm. WW3 had only just ended when World War 4 took over. The USSR had been defeated, but there was still a lot of work to do. A lot of territory, ideological and geographical, was left unconquered or had to now be consolidated and managed. For one thing, Red China remained, as well as other socialist countries such as Yugoslavia, Cuba and North Korea. The geostrategically and economically vital Middle East was also yet to be fully subdued.

For proof that US elites, in prosecuting WW4, were continuing their ideological war for capitalism and against socialism, we should take a look at what the victims of this aggression have had to say:

Regarding Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic said that the US wanted to topple his government for two reasons: 1) He was a communist; and 2) He told the Americans to go fuck themselves. (Why Assad Refuses to Step Down)

 
Regarding Libya, Col. Muammar Gaddafi had this to say shortly before his tragic death, a mafia-style hit job:

“Now, I am under attack by the biggest force in military history, my little African son, Obama wants to kill me, to take away the freedom of our country, to take away our free housing, our free medicine, our free education, our free food, and replace it with American style thievery, called ‘capitalism,’ but all of us in the Third World know what that means, it means corporations run the countries, run the world, and the people suffer.” (“Recollections of My Life,” by Col. Finally, at present we see a relentless and brutal war continuing to be waged by the US and its vassals and mercenaries against Syria for the same basic reasons. President Bashar al-Assad had this to say about the situation:

“The West does not accept partners. It only wants satellite states. The United States does not even accept partners in the West. It wants Europe to follow the United States. They didn’t accept Russia, although it was a superpower. They didn’t accept it as a partner. Russian officials talk all the time about partnership with the West, and talk positively about the West. In return, the West does not accept Russia as a great power and as a partner on a global level. So, how could they accept a smaller state like Syria which could say no to them? When anything contradicts Syrian interests, we say no. And this is something they do not accept in the West.” (The West’s Quest for a Puppet State in Syria)

Gaddafi was overthrown because he insisted that Western oil companies allow the profits from Libyan oil to benefit the Libyan people and not just enrich foreign investors at their expense. For this brazen attitude, Gaddafi was accused by the US State department of “resource nationalism.” Likewise, a US Library of Congress study referred disparagingly to the “socialist structure” of Syria’s government and economy.

To illustrate the point further, here are some gems from the Syrian Constitution that earned Washington’s enmity:

• [Syria is at] the forefront of confrontation with the Zionist enemy and the bedrock of resistance against colonial hegemony on the Arab world and its capabilities and wealth.
• Syria is an independent state working for the interests of its people, rather than making the Syrian people work for the interests of the West.
• Security against sickness, disability and old age; access to health care; and free education at all levels.
• Taxes shall be progressive.

It seems that your country only has to be a little bit socialist to earn the wrath of the US, the worldwide defender and champion of global capitalism. As Stephen Gowans has observed, since the end of WW2 virtually every country which has found itself in America’s crosshairs has had a largely state-owned or directed economy that works to the benefit of all its citizens and denies preferential treatment to foreign investors who seek to exploit the countries’ resources, land and labor. Many people understand that socialist countries and anti-colonial, national liberation movements in the third world were the sole target of U.S. imperial aggression during the Cold War (WW3), but this crusade continued into the current WW4 period by various overt and covert means including military interventions, or threats thereof, against Iraq, Iran, Yugoslavia, Libya, Ukraine and Syria.

There is no secret to US foreign policy. It is exactly what it looks like.
